Pro Bono Partnership Welcomes Pfizer’s Ed Nowicki to Board of Directors
Expert Compliance and Risk Leader Joins Board of Nonprofit Legal Services Provider
White Plains, NY, August 29, 2025 — Pro Bono Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Nowicki, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Pfizer, to its Board of Directors. Ed brings more than two decades of legal expertise and a deep commitment to ethical leadership, making him an invaluable addition to the Partnership’s Board as the organization continues to advance its mission of strengthening the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut nonprofit sectors.
Throughout his career, Ed has demonstrated a strong focus on building effective, values-based compliance programs. Currently, he serves as Pfizer’s Chief Compliance Officer, leading the Company’s global Compliance Organization and reporting to its board of directors. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring Pfizer operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the Company’s own high standards of integrity. Over his 20-plus year career at Pfizer, Ed has held numerous compliance-related roles, previously overseeing Pfizer’s Global Compliance Programs function, its Investigations and Risk Assessment teams, and serving as Chief Compliance Counsel for Pfizer’s Global Innovative Pharma and Oncology businesses, as well as for its R&D, Medical, and Global Supply divisions. He has also led numerous negotiations with government regulators and helped ensure Pfizer’s compliance with key government agreements.
Pfizer has been a longtime supporter of Pro Bono Partnership, providing volunteer legal assistance, board leadership, and financial support that have helped further the Partnership’s mission for more than two decades.

Pro Bono Partnership provides free business and transactional legal services to nonprofits in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. Since its founding in 1997, the Partnership has assisted more than 4,000 nonprofits with over 23,000 legal matters.
