Construction are in the process of severing the sewer lines of four empty homes located along West Post Road in White Plains.
The homes are being demolished to make way for the expansion if the
Salvation Army of White Plains, which is located on the corner of West Post Road and Sterling Avenue.
The expansion is being done because the current location has failed to the meet code requirements necessary to run its children's program, Salvation Army officials said Wednesday.
