Saturday Night—Live at the Library! showcases a trio of New York talents across three genres: art, literature, and music. During cocktail hour, tour the art installation, “You’re From Where I’m From”, featuring work from Chioma “ChiChi” Nwana, a documentary photographer, photojournalist, and archivist based in White Plains with a rare chance to engage with the artist and her creative process. While taking in the sights of the Library’s Museum Art Gallery, experience the vibrant sounds of Yonkers’ own The Library Jazz Band, performing in a “Little Big Band” 7-piece ensemble, playing jazz and soul classics. Founded by a fellow Westchester Library Systems (WLS) partner, this music with a mission includes 2 saxophones, trombone, trumpet, piano, drums and bass.
