Second Big Lottery Win at White Plains Gas Station

Mario Moreno of White Plains won a $50,000 "Set for Life" scratch-off ticket at the JKSG CITGO Station at 124 S. Lexington Ave.

Mario Moreno would always buy a ticket when he would come into the JSKG CITGO Station, at 124 S. Lexington Ave., which was almost every day—however, last Saturday was the day he would win $50,000 on a “Set For Life” scratch-off game.

“We were really excited,” said Rezvi Raj, who works at the station. “He [Moreno] showed us the ticket, then left right away.”

According to Raj, Moreno works at a local café.

This is the second big winning New York Lottery scratch-off ticket the gas station convenience store recently solid to a city resident. 

In July, store employees  to , of White Plains who works as a mechanic in New Rochelle.

White Plains has recently had luck in the lotto over the past year:

  • City resident , who purchased his ticket at at 154 Westchester Ave., won $10,000 in the March 27 "Mega Millions" drawing   
  • bought his winning $250,000 "Mega Millions" ticket for the Dec. 27 drawing at the Chestnut Mart, at 174 Westchester Ave.
