Sunshine Pizza Issued 3 Alcohol-Related Violations

A White Plains pizzeria owner is accused of three alcohol-related violations after police say the establishment was serving beer to about two-dozen people after legal drinking hours early Sunday morning.
Police responded to reports of a fight inside Sunshine Pizza at about 5:15 a.m. At that time officers noticed a large group of people inside, but say the door was locked. After knocking on the door, police say the storeowner ignored them and went toward the back of the establishment to warn others inside.

After an employee opened the door, police say they found about 24 people inside drinking beer out of plastic cups. At that time, police say several people ran from the store to a nearby alley.
Police cleared the establishment, located at 51 Mamaroneck Avenue, and issued violations for refusing inspection of licensed premises, consuming alcohol after 4:30 a.m. and maintaining a disorderly premise.
