Sur La Table To Reopen Store In The Westchester
The upscale kitchenware retailer said it will be announcing more openings throughout the remainder of 2023.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — An upscale kitchenware retailer that closed many of its locations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is opening new stores, including one in the Hudson Valley.
Sur La Table, which filed for bankruptcy in July 2020, announced it will open four stores this spring — including a return to The Westchester mall in White Plains — and a store this summer in Stuyvesant Plaza in Albany.
Jordan Voloshin, CEO of Sur La Table, said the company was thrilled to continue growing its retail business and giving its customers local storefronts.

“By expanding our retail footprint strategically, we’ve targeted specific markets providing new and familiar communities with a retail destination that offers the 50 years of cooking expertise that the brand is known for,” he said in a news release.
The company said it will continue to expand its in-store experiences including its cooking class program, as well as in-store event and demonstrations.

Additional store openings will be announced throughout the remainder of 2023.
Sur La Table celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, and currently has retail locations in more than 20 states nationwide.
The Westchester is located at 125 Westchester Ave. in White Plains.
