Westchester To Hold Multilingual Job Fair At County Center
Officials said the job fair is an effort to connect local businesses with job seekers who have the ability to speak multiple languages.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Westchester County Office of Economic Development will hold it first multilingual job fair at the Westchester County Center.
County officials said the job fair is an effort to connect local businesses with job seekers who have the ability to speak multiple languages.
Due to the tremendous interest from participants, the event was moved from The Little Theatre to the main floor of the County Center so all employers and job seekers can be accommodated.

The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. The County Center is located at 198 Central Ave. in White Plains.
Participation and parking at the job fair are free.

County Executive George Latimer said, that as Westchester continues growing and diversifying, so do the needs of its employers and what they are looking for in order to strengthen their workforce.
“At the same time, we are dedicated to not only helping our residents find jobs,” he said, “but helping them find the right jobs that utilize their special skills, such as speaking more than one language.”
