Westchester To Host Workshop On Unclaimed Funds Held By NYS

The workshop will be held at the Scotti Community Center in Yonkers.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Is New York holding some of your money?

According to state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office, New York has billions of dollars in lost money.

Each day, they return about a million dollars to those who file claims.

Westchester County will be holding an in-person workshop on unclaimed funds sponsored by County Executive George Latimer and County Legislator David Tubiolo at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

It will be held at the Scotti Community Center, 680 Bronx River Rd. in Yonkers.

The Unclaimed Funds Program is administered by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
