Westchester Parks To Host 1st Cornhole Tournament

Residents can register for Fun Social Doubles or Competitive Doubles.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Registration is now open for the Westchester County Parks Cornhole Tournament.

The competition will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 29 at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

Residents can register for Fun Social Doubles or Competitive Doubles at Wardboards.com.

  • Fun Social Doubles: Bring your own partner. Fees are $a0 per person or $20 per team with double elimination. Winners will receive prizes.
  • Competitive Doubles: Bring your own partner. Fees are $20 per person or $40 per team with double elimination. Winners will receive a 50 percent cash payout and prizes.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said he encourages residents to take advantage of this great opportunity to spend time together outdoors.

“As one of our favorite lawn activities continues to grow as a social and competitive sport,” he said, “we are thrilled to bring this first tournament to Westchester residents.”
