White Plains Boarding House Fire Displaces 11

Fire officials said the fire was knocked down quickly saving much of the structure.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A boarding house fire Thursday in White Plains displaced all its residents.

The blaze at the South Broadway residence was knocked down quickly, saving about 75 percent of the home, News 12 reported.

Representatives from the Red Cross were on the scene helping set up temporary housing for all residents.
