White Plains Conservation Board to Discuss FASNY; the County Mobile Passport Office Comes to Saxon Woods
- The White Plains Conservation Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 8 p.m. inside city hall. Agenda items include a discussion on the French America School of New York's plans to build a campus on the site of the former Ridgeway Country Club. City hall is located at 255 Main Street.
- The White Plains Planning Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7 p.m., inside city hall. A copy of the agenda can be found here.
- SCORE Westchester is hosting a workshop on marketing and public relations Wednesday at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop, which is being led by Robert Wycker, will consist of a 20-30 minute presentation, followed by an interactive session where most attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions concerning how to promote their business. SCORE Westchester is located at 120 Bloomingdale Rd. in White Plains.
- The White Plains Library will host "Puppets to Go Presents: The Tortoise and the Hare" Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Puppet shows is for children ages 5 and older. Contact Rosemary Rasmussen at 914-422-1476 for more information.
- The White Plains Recreation and Parks Department will host the Woodstock tribute band "Back to Garden" at Renaissance Plaza Thursday, from noon to 2 p.m., during its "Noon Day Concerts" series.
- The Westchester County Clerk’s Mobile Passport Office is coming to the Saxon Woods Park, located at 1800 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The office will be accepting passport applications and taking photos.
