Hours: Mon.-Thurs., 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.; Sun., 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Brunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

This cozy neighborhood bar serves up America’s favorite comfort food, and is one of two restaurants in Westchester to be certified by the Green Restaurant Association. Emma’s also offers catering and hosts private events.

Owned by lifelong White Plains resident Casey Egan, and named for his yellow lab Emma—at Emma’s Ale House you’ll enjoy burgers, brews, lunch, brunch and dinner, while being entertained by the restaurant’s big screen TVs or using their Wi-Fi.

If you’re looking to balance out your weekend hangover, you can select items from Emma’s brunch menu (found here), like vanilla bean dipped French toast for $12 and a mimosa.

Your favorite starters comes with a gourmet twist at Emma’s including crispy chicken lollipops for $10, the short rib quesadilla for $12 and Gedney Chips with Maytag bleu cheese and truffle oil for $8.

Salads range from $10 to $12 and include bleu cheese stuffed baby iceberg, roasted beets, and Emma’s country style chophouse. Add chicken, shrimp, steak, crab cake, salmon or Portobello mushrooms for between $6 and $10.

Emma’s burger bar serves up a variety of options for between $12 and $15, including a side of fries and a pickle, like their opened faced veggie burger on a multi-grain role, the lamb burger on pita with feta cheese, or any combination of three sliders including filet mignon, scramble eggs, chili hot dogs and pulled pork.

Sesame Crusted Salon, Duck Confit, and porcini and truffle ravioli are some of the items gracing the entrée menu, which starts at $18. Other Emma’s favorites include the free-range turkey Cobb wrap for $13, a grilled salmon BLT for $15 or an old fashion sloppy Joe for $12.

Grab a side dish to finish for your meal for between $6 and $7, including wasabi, tater tots, or creamed spinach. Click here for Emma’s full menu.

Their dessert is absolutely to die for, so don’t miss out treating yourself to the Krispy Kreme donut bread pudding.
