In a statement made to White Plains Police—Milton Sisalima said he videotaped women using the bathrooms at and in White Plains several times, and was surprised when his alleged role as a peeping Tom came to an end.
"I really thought I was going to get away with it because I've done it several times in the same bathroom [third-floor bathroom at The Galleria] and have even done it about six times in the women's bathroom in Walmart—and never got caught," said the 24-year-old Ecuadorian native, according to court documents.
Court papers say Sisalima—who moved from Ecuador in March 2009, and now lives in White Plains at 58 Battle Ave.—told police on Feb. 21 that he aimed to film women undressing, so he could pleasure himself in local public bathrooms. He said he has been watching women use the bathroom since he was 13-years-old.
“My intentions are always to get women taking their clothes off, but I usually get legs and feet,” he admitted to police, according to the documents.

Sisalima said he recorded about four images of women on his cell phone through the cracks of a stall in the bathroom on the third floor of The Galleria near Macy’s on Feb. 20. He was about to masturbate when two police officers and mall security ordered him out of the bathroom stall.
“I was embarrassed and felt ashamed,” said Sisalima, of getting caught according to court papers.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, and eight counts of attempted unlawful surveillance. According to a press release, police found images of women in The Galleria bathroom on Sisalima’s cell phone.
Sisalima faces a maximum penalty of four years in state prison if convicted. He is being held at Westchester County Jail and will appear in court on July 13. Assistant District Attorney Michelle Lopez, Deputy Chief of the Sex Crimes Bureau, is prosecuting the case.
A spokesperson for The Galleria declined to comment.
