White Plains Public Library: April Book Bunch

The Trove will be having two Book Bunch book discussion programs for fourth through eighth graders in April and May.

From April 1st through June 30th, the Harriet Tubman – Journey to Freedom sculpture by Wesley Wofford will be on display in Renaissance Plaza in downtown White Plains. In conjunction with this historic visit by the sculpture, the Library and many other community partners are organizing events related to Harriet Tubman, the Underground Railroad, and more, throughout April, May, and June (see a list of the Library's events here). The Trove will be having two Book Bunch book discussion programs for fourth through eighth graders in April and May.

Join librarians Caroline and Lauren for a virtual book discussion and trivia game for 4th through 8th graders! We will be reading The Underground Abductor by Nathan Hale. We will provide a free copy of the book for the first ten individuals to register for the discussion. When the books are available, we will email to arrange pickup; please list an email address when registering. You can place a hold on the print book with your library card using our catalog here.
