Tom Roach has won the special election for mayor of White Plains.
Tom Roach is the city's new mayor.
According to the Westchester County Board of Elections as of 10:49 p.m., Roach has 4,482 votes (52 percent) in White Plains' special mayoral election; Bob Hyland has 3,068 (35 percent); and Glen Hockley has 1,150 votes (13 percent).
With 43 districts out of 43 reporting (100 percent), 208 absentee votes were cast.
