White Plains Youth Bureau to Host Give Back Music Screening Tour

On Monday, July 16 at 11:00 am, the White Plains Youth Bureau will host the 2012 Give Back Music Screening Tour.

The event will be held at the Reckson Building, 360 Hamilton Avenue, in White Plains.  This international tour is promoting the Give Back for Kids Campaign through the "Give Back” song and music video (www.GiveBack4Kids.org). 

The tour is also the FIRST phase of an AWARENESS STRATEGY to promote the urgent need to attract adults and youth who desire to help children through community volunteerism.

Community leaders such as Mayor Thomas Roach, Director Frank Williams, and Give Back Founder and Executive Director Hosea James will be on hand to launch the Give Back video in White Plains.

“The mission of our highly charged and urgent grassroots movement is to help inspire, create and maintain a culture of giving back,” said James.

Mayor Roach added, “Giving back is critical to helping our youth successfully develop into good citizens, good parents and great leaders.” 

White Plains is a community that cares for kids and has been named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People.

 Other cities and locations scheduled to participate in the tour include: Philadelphia, Newark, the Hamptons, San Francisco, Oakland, Chicago, Detroit, New Haven, Los Angeles, Miami, Jackson , St. Louis, Albany , The Berkshires (MA), Houston, Martha’s Vineyard (MA), Providence, Boston, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, NYC, Toronto, Montreal, London, Monrovia (Liberia) and Cape Town (South Africa).
