Off-Duty Cop Apparently Shoots Himself In Williamsburg: NYPD
The FDNY said one person was taken to the hospital after they received a call about the incident at Williamsburg Street West and Wythe Ave.

WILLIAMSBURG, NY — An off-duty NYPD officer was taken to the hospital Saturday after he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call of male shot at Williamsburg Street West and Wythe Avenue around 11:05 a.m. The off-duty cop was found in the front passenger seat of the car with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, the NYPD said.
The officer was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and is in stable condition. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

Sources told The New York Post that the officer apparently shot himself in the chest after a heated argument with his girlfriend.
