Man Beaten To Death Inside Brooklyn Building, Police Say
Police say two individuals have been taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 59-year-old man found unconscious with head injuries in a Brooklyn building on Monday has been identified, police said.
The victim has been identified as Gerry Hill, police said.
Officers found Hill unresponsive around 7 p.m. Monday inside an establishment on Knickerbocker Avenue, just a few blocks from Maria Hernandez Park. Police had been called to the scene in response to reports of an assault, officials said.

Hill was found with head trauma, police said. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Two individuals were taken into custody, though details of their arrests had not been released as of Tuesday morning.
