PopUp Bagels Opening New Shop In Brooklyn
The viral bagel spot is expanding to Brooklyn, with plans to open a new location right here in Williamsburg.

BROOKLYN, NY — A viral pre-order bagel spot has announced plans to expand its footprint in New York City with a brand-new location right here in Brooklyn.
PopUp Bagels, the popular bagel shop, revealed to Patch their plans to open four new locations across various neighborhoods, including one in Williamsburg.
Fans of the popular 'Rip and Dip' bagel shop will soon be able to enjoy their homemade, piping-hot bagels without leaving the borough at their new location on 661 Driggs Avenue, set to open in mid-April.

If you’ve never heard of Pop Up Bagels, don’t expect the typical bagel experience. They offer only whole, made-to-order bagels with a rotating selection of schmear flavors, including Calabrian chili, scallion cream cheese, caramel apple, and more."
The brand, which actually started in proprietor Adam Goldberg's Connecticut backyard as a pandemic passion project, debuted in New York City with a Greenwich Village location in April 2023.

Since then, the brand has triumphed as the best bagel winner for two consecutive years at the Brooklyn Bagelfest, Patch previously reported.
Just like previous locations, the new Williamsburg shop will sell bagels to walk-in customers in packs of three.
Customers can also pre-order a bag of bagels, with a minimum order of one dozen, which includes two spreads or schmears. Additional bagels, fish, or schmears can be added, but sandwiches are not offered on the menu.
"Though we're just at the start of PopUp Bagels' national expansion, growing in NYC is the most exciting chapter of my career," Goldberg told Patch.
In addition to its current Manhattan locations, Pop Up Bagels has established a presence with five shops in Connecticut, one in Massachusetts and another on Long Island.
