Shooting Near Prospect Park Leaves 1 Dead: Police
Two men were shot sitting inside of a car near Prospect Park, police said.

PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN — Two men were shot, and one of them died, as they were sitting inside of a car just outside of Prospect Park early Friday morning, police said.
Three men total were inside the car, which was near Parkside Avenue and Parade Place, around 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
That's when two men rode up to the car on bicycles and opened fire, the spokesman said.

A 20-year-old man in the passenger seat was hit in the back and taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. A 42-year-old man in the driver's seat was hit in his jaw, neck and back; he was taken to Maimonides Hospital and pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing, police said.

Other information about the shooting, including possible motives, were not immediately available.
