Brooklyn Bridge Manhattan-Bound Lanes Closed Until Monday
Lanes will be closed starting at midnight Saturday through 6 a.m. Monday morning.

If you're taking a mini-road trip into Manhattan this weekend, steer clear from the Manhattan Bridge: all lanes leading to the City will be closed until Monday, the Department of Transportation reports.
Manhattan-bound lanes will be closed starting at 12:01 on Saturday, Jan. 13 through 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14.
Workers are reconstructing the bridge's ramps, causing the closure, the DOT said.

For those traveling from south Brooklyn via the Belt Parkway and Gowanus Expressway, use third avenue and Hamilton Avenue to get to the Hugh Carey Tunnel, formerly known as the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, to enter lower Manhattan if you're willing to pay the $6.50 toll, or take the Manhattan Bridge.
Motorists traveling from Queens and Long Island should consider the Williamsburg Bridge, the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge or Queens Midtown Tunnel to enter Manhattan.

Brooklyn-bound traffic will be allowed onto the bridge via ramps from Pearl Street and Centre Street.
