Carousel Rides, Beer Brewing and More Thursday

What's happening Thursday in the area.

Good morning, Windsor Terrace and Kensington. Here’s a look at what’s happening Thursday.

Prospect Park Carousel rides will be free all day, every Thursday to children 12 and younger. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  

- Every Thursday in August from 12-2 p.m., bring your lunch to "LunchPad" for a mini social for the work-at-home (or near-home) crowd.  

- The Tea Lounge, located at 837 Union St., will present Tatted-Up Folk “The Exhibit," a personal photography portrait project featuring tattooed and modified parents along with their children, from 7-10 p.m. Admission is free for all. 

-Learn to make beer at Brewshop 101: Homebrewing Essentials at Bitter and Esters.
