WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out Thursday night at a perky Windsor Terrace cafe, sending two firefighters to the hospital for minor injuries, according to FDNY officials.

Smoke began to billow from the Poetica Coffee at 1233 Prospect Ave., near Reeve Place, about 7:30 p.m., the FDNY said.

It took 12 units with 60 firefighters about 30 minutes to get the flames under control, according to officials. FDNY reports that the flames were visible at one point during the blaze.

Poetica Coffee has locations over Brooklyn, including Park Slope and Williamsburg. A small update on their Google Maps page acknowledges the fire and says no one was hurt, which assumably refers to cafe staff.
