Help 'Beautify' Kensington Playground
The city is holding a few "It's My Park" events at Albemarle Playground in Kensington.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — Anyone in Kensington looking to chip in and help with a local park with a few chances to do that in the coming weeks.
The city is holding a couple of its "It's My Park" events at Albemarle Playground in Kensington that will give people a chance to do some gardening and other beautification.
The first one was Tuesday afternoon, but there are at least three more coming up. The next one will be held Thursday, July 20, from 10 a.m. until noon, then two more sessions next week on Tuesday and Thursday, the 25th and 27th of July during that same time period.

The Singing Winds, a storytelling series hosted by PS 230, is organizing the event. Singing Winds says there will also be chess, arts and crafts, science and sports on site.
