Local Teen Dials 911 Hundreds of Times for Fake Emergencies
Dean Whylie, 16, made 404 calls to report nonexistent incidents.

A Ditmas Park teen was arrested Tuesday afternoon for dialing 911 to report more than 400 fake incidents—some of which were based in Kensington, police told the New York Post.
Dean Whyle, 16, made 404 calls in the last nine months to report non-existent indicents, starting on May 26, 2012, police told The Post.
Whyle disguised his voice as a girl when he reported emergencies including police officers needing assistance, shots fired, car accidents and disputes, The Post noted.
