Make a Splash: City Pools Officially Open

For of all those youngsters looking to beat the heat this summer, city pools are now open for business.

Residents of Windsor Terrace and Kensington can head to Sunset Park Recreation Center, located at 7th Avenue at 43rd Street, for a dip in the outdoor pool or a rousing game of ping pong.

Pool hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., though the facility will be closed on July 4.

Also consider the Red Hook Recreation Center, located at 155 Bay St.
