BROOKLYN, NY — A man was shot and killed in Brooklyn on Christmas Eve, police said.
The incident happened at Powell Street and Belmont Avenue around 9:45 a.m.
Officers found a 46-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the chest. He was initially taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
