UPDATE: Man Arrested in 40th St. Murder
Officers of the 66th precinct discovered the victim Friday evening.

Arcadio Perez, 49, was arrested and charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.Â

A man was pronounced dead after suffering a stab wound just before midnight on Friday, according to police.
Officers of the 66th Precinct responded to a 911 call on Friday, October 12 at approximately 11:35 p.m., that a man had been stabbed on 40th Street between 13th and 14th avenues.
Upon arriving at the scene, a Hispanic male with one a stab wound to the stomach was confirmed by cops, who immediately called emergency medical services.
After examination by the response unit, the victim was pronounced dead on arrival.
