NYPD Cop Fires Round After Car Chase That Ends In Kensington
Police initially responded to a dispute after a party boat docked at the Brooklyn Army Terminal Friday night.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — An NYPD officer fired at least one shot after a police chase that started as police responded to a dispute at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, police said.
According to police, at around 11 p.m. on Friday, a party boat dropped off its passengers at 58th Street and First Avenue in Brooklyn. The NYPD said it received a report of a large dispute at the location where they believe at least one round was fired.
Police recovered a baseball bat and a semi-automatic handgun from the scene.

Officers later saw a car being driven recklessly and pursued the vehicle, police said. The car was later involved in a crash in the 800 block of Avenue C, police said. Three people in the car not being pursued by police that was involved in the crash were taken to the hospital and are expected to be released.
The NYPD said that as officers approached the car that was being pursued, a cop discharged one round. The driver of the car was taken to Lutheran Hospital with an injury to his left pinky finger. Police did not say how he was injured.
