Party in Kensington Plaza This Saturday

It's been more than a month since the boring traffic bump-out in front of Walgreens on Church Avenue and Beverley Road was converted into , a community gathering space complete with benches, trees and granite blocks. 

Join your friends and neighbors on Saturday, July 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for a get-together to celebrate the plaza's arrival. Food, drinks and party favors will be on hand. 

Anyone willing to help with a quick, pre-party cleanup should arrive at 6 p.m. 

The Kensington Trash Mob is also to help keep the plaza clean on a more regular basis. Those interested in participating should email evergreen827@aol.com.
