Police Blotter: Stolen Car in Windsor Terrace

Stolen Chevy Tahoe

A local man returned to his car on Monday morning to find that it was gone.

The 46-year-old victim told cops that when he went to retrieve his green 1995 Chevy Tahoe around 7 a.m., it was no longer parked on 18th Street near 8th Avenue where he'd left it. Records show no indication that the car was towed, nor was there any broken glass on the scene.

There was one security camera present in the area, but police do not know which direction it was facing. No arrests have been made.

Missing Money

A school safety officer's money was stolen from her wallet on June 13, after it was left in an unlocked locker on school grounds.

The 64-year-old victim, who works at P.S. 130 on Ocean Parkway, told police that someone had lifted around $25 from her wallet without her permission. The wallet itself was left behind.
