Police Search for Missing 14-Year-Old Ditmas Park Girl

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a teenage girl who was last seen in her Ditmas Park home. 

Maria Castillo, 14, was last seen at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 in her home on Coney Island Avenue near Church Avenue. 

She is described as standing 5-foot-5, weighing 110 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Castillo was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket, black jeans, grey hooded sweatshirt and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing person is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
