See Plans For Kensington Dog Run At Wednesday Community Meeting
The dog run would allow owners to let their pooches off their leash.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — Plans for a Kensington Dog Run where owners could let their pets run without leashes in Prospect Park are going on show Wednesday.
The plans will be presented to Community Board 14's Community Environment Committee at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at CB14's district office at 810 East 16th St.
Sketches were released three weeks ago by the Kensington Dog Run, a grassroots group of neighborhood dog-owners who have pushed for the project.

"There’s really no areas for dogs to run around and be off leash," Sal Garro, president of the association, told Patch at the time. "We’ve got off leash hours at Prospect Park, and those are pretty limited and a lot of people can’t make it to those."
The designs, from a team at the Prospect Park Alliance, show separate areas for smaller and larger dogs, along with benches for dog owners.
