Watch: Man Robs Kensington Gas Station At Gunpoint

The man took cash from the Shell station on Cortelyou and Dahill roads.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — Authorities are searching for a man who they say robbed a Kensington gas station at gunpoint last month.

The man walked into the Shell station on on Cortelyou Road between Dahill Road and McDonald Avenue around 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, police said.

Surveillance video shows the suspect, in a black hoodie, walk up to the cash register and pull out a pistol, pointing it at the clerk. He pulls his hood up and pulls the drawstrings to obscure his face.

The man walks behind the counter and takes the cash out of the register himself. Authorities said he fled the scene north on Dahill in a white Ford Crown Victoria. No one was injured in the incident.
