Weekend Weather: Another Muggy Summer Weekend
This summer, we'll help you plan your weekends with our weather watch.

Yes, it's summer, but this being New York, there's no telling what the wily weather will do over the weekend.
Poor weather is nearly guaranteed in the winter months, but we'd hate for you to make extensive beach plans, only to see them canceled by an unexpected thunderstorm.
So each week this summer, Patch will keep you abreast of the weather with information from the National Weather Service.

Friday: Today's weather will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the upper 80s. Tonight the temperature will drop to the low 70s, with a chance of rain after 3 a.m.
Saturday: Be sure to bring along your umbrella today, as there's a slight chance of showers with possible accompanying thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Clouds will persist throughout the day, and the highs will hit the upper 80s. Rain is possible into the evening, and a patchy fog is expected to roll in around 2 a.m. The temperature will drop to the low 70s.

Sunday: Continuing the trend of the rest of the weekend, Sunday will see some fog early, with a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The skies will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the upper 80s. The clouds will stick around throughout Sunday evening, and the low will be around 73 degrees.
