Woman Went On Designer Shopping Spree With Stolen Credit Card, Cops Say

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — Authorities say a woman used a stolen credit card to go on a shopping spree for designer handbags, racking up thousands of dollars in charges on a card that wasn't hers.
Police said that a woman from the 66th Precinct — which includes Kensington and Borough Park — got a heads up from Chase about transactions she had not authorized.
Authorities also found surveillance video of a woman making unauthorized purchases that later showed up on the woman's bank statement.

The purchases included a $1,143.19 handbag at Chanel and a $2,710.99 handbag at Bergdorf Goodman, on the afternoon of April 2.
Authorities released the photo above, which was taken from the Chanel store.
