• One man killed, another seriously injured in Commack crash (tbrnewsmedia.com) — Two Wyandanch residents were involved in a serious crash in Commack Monday afternoon, leaving a 99-year-old passenger dead and the 67-year-old driver hospitalized with serious injuries. Police say their minivan was struck by a National Grid truck on Veterans Memorial Highway, and detectives are asking anyone who saw the collision to contact the Suffolk County Fourth Squad.
