Senior Monday - Celebrate New Year's Eve with Music

This is our special Senior Monday celebration for New Year's! We will have refreshments to enjoy during the program. Join Yara as she sings your favorite songs and sing along with her! Yara will sing American Jazz Standards, jazzy love songs from the 40s and 50s (such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald) songs from the 60s and 70s (Dionne Warwick, The Ronettes, The Beatles, Carol King, The Carpenters).

Yara Hoppenstein is a local soprano singer. You may have seen her sing at one of her Disney Singalongs for the children at our library. She is a versatile singer and performs for children, adults, and seniors.Yara is a versatile singer. For children, she sings popular Disney songs. For adults and seniors, she sings American Jazz Standards, popular songs from the 40s/50s and 60s/70s, and musicals amongst other genres.
