After more than 35 years of steady growth, Signs Ink is proud to announce the official rebrand and expansion of the company—marking a milestone moment in the journey of founders Matt and Tim Beachak. What began in a basement corner has grown into a fully renovated headquarters now fully occupied by the brothers and their team, serving a national clientele that spans small businesses, national retailers, auto dealerships, educational institutions, financial organizations, healthcare systems, and more. 
From Basement Startup to National Sign Partner
Matt and Tim didn’t just build a sign company—they built a brand rooted in craft, resilience, and relentless drive. Their artistic sensibilities, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial toughness have grown a local shop into a powerhouse serving national names like Target, Toyota, regional banks, school districts, major dealership groups, hospitals, and healthcare networks. 
The Founders Behind Signs Ink
Tim Beachak
Before steering Signs Ink’s growth, Tim competed at the national level in motocross—an intense, high-speed sport requiring laser focus, stamina, and boldness. That competitive mindset still fuels Tim’s leadership today: fast-moving, disciplined, and always pushing the limits of what’s possible in production, innovation, and service.
Matt Beachak
Matt is both a designer and a builder. As a general contractor and artisan, he has worked on some of the region’s most desirable hospitality spaces, custom homes, and commercial interiors. He also personally led the transformation of Signs Ink’s headquarters—integrating custom woodwork, reclaimed signage, signature lighting, and brand-forward visual storytelling into the renovated building. The space itself is a living portfolio.
A Family Legacy, Reinvented
In the early years, their mother, Patricia Beachak, managed Signs Ink’s accounting and administration. Her encouragement, involvement, and support helped transform a small basement setup into what has now become a thriving, full-building operation with national reach. What started as a family effort has grown—but never lost its family core.
Even today, you’ll often find Mrs. Beachak in the shop, checking in on operations and supporting the team.
The Rebrand: New Look, Same Values
This rebrand isn’t just a visual update—it reflects scale, momentum, and readiness for the next era. Come and kick off the winter break with some STEM fun!

This is our special Senior Monday celebration for New Year's! We will have refreshments to enjoy during the program. Join Yara as she sings your favorite songs and sing along with her! Yara will sing American Jazz Standards, jazzy love songs from the 40s and 50s (such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald) songs from the 60s and 70s (Dionne Warwick, The Ronettes, The Beatles, Carol King, The Carpenters).
Yara Hoppenstein is a local soprano singer. You may have seen her sing at one of her Disney Singalongs for the children at our library. She is a versatile singer and performs for children, adults, and seniors.Yara is a versatile singer. For children, she sings popular Disney songs. We are very excited to have John Gallagher with us to teach this 6-week chess program! This class provides new and experienced students with a strong foundation in the rules and strategies needed to play the game of chess through guided instruction and supervised play. Students will learn fundamentals such as: 
<ul><li>How each piece moves.</li><li>The point value of each piece.</li><li>Check and checkmate.</li><li>The different outcomes of the game. (i.e., win/lose/stalemate)</li><li>The different phases of the game and the ensuing strategies (i.e., opening/middlegame/endgame)</li><li>How to properly evaluate a position.</li><li>How to formulate and implement a plan.</li><li>How to visualize and conceptualize strategic ideas.</li><li>How to identify and assess a position's strengths and weaknesses.</li></ul>

Do you love history- especially Greek and Roman? Do you play Dungeons &amp; Dragons? Then this program is for you! The Historical Miniature Gaming Society makes history fun by turning it into a game using a huge platform and miniature figures.
The Battle of Asculum was fought in 279 BC between the Roman Army and the Greek army of King Pyrrhus of Epirus. The second of three major battles during the Pyrrhic war, King Pyrrhus won another very costly “Pyrrhic Victory”, declaring “One more such victory, and I am lost”

Getting to Know Computers: Keyboard &amp; Mouse Monday, January 12, in-person at 1 – 2 PM, virtually at 7 – 8 PM Have you ever looked at your keyboard and wondered what all those buttons actually do? You may know the 26 letters and 10 number keys, but what about ALT, Scroll Lock, or FN? In this session, we’ll explore these keys and more. We’ll also take a closer look at your computer’s keypad or mousepad (whichever you prefer) and show you some helpful “under-the-hood” features you can use on your own device. We’ll demonstrate using a Windows computer, but we’ll also cover Mac features. Windows laptops (graciously provided by the Friends of the Somers Library) will be available for hands-on practice during the in-person program. No prior experience required.
