Impaired Driver Had Prior Conviction, Revoked Licence: Yorktown PD

He is 27, police said.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 27-year-old resident with a previous DWI conviction and a revoked license is now accused of driving while impaired by drugs, Yorktown police said.

Ronald Ferraro, of 268 E. Main St., was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Aug. 2 after he was identified as the driver in a single-vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Shell gas Station on East Main Street, police said.

He was placed under arrest and transferred to Hudson Valley Hospital for medical evaluation. Afterward he was released to a responsible party, police said.

He is due in town court Aug. 15 to face felony charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs with one prior conviction and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
