Lakeland HS Field Hockey Wins 2018 Section One Championship

For the tenth year in a row, Lakeland High School's Field Hockey team has won the Section One Class B title.

They defeated John Jay High School (Cross River) 6-1 on Saturday, October 27 on a windy and rainy day at Brewster High School behind four goals from Senior Julianna Cappello.

The team then defeated Rondout Valley HS 4-1 to advance to the Regional Championship on Saturday, November 3 at Lakeland HS starting at 2:00 pm. They will face Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake HS who they defeated in last year's NY State semifinals.
