Here's what to know (starnewsonline.com subscription) — Brunswick County drivers who now rely on DMV services in Shallotte, Bolivia, Southport, or Wilmington will soon have a new option, with a temporary DMV office planned near Leland by early 2026. The modular facility at Belville Bridge Yard is intended to relieve long waits and serve fast-growing northern Brunswick communities while the state evaluates a permanent site.
