• North Carolina bar continues selling Sycamore beer despite child rape allegations against co-owner (wbtv.com) — A Chapel Hill bar, Goodfellows, is keeping Sycamore beer on tap while condemning serious criminal charges against one of the brewery’s co-owners and pledging to donate part of sales to the Orange County Rape Crisis Center. Many other North Carolina retailers have dropped the brand, while Sycamore’s remaining owner says she has taken full control and the accused co-owner is divesting.
