City Of Cornelius: Business Hazardous Waste Disposal

Mecklenburg County Solid Waste is hosting a Hazardous Waste Collection Event for businesses that qualify as a Very Small Quantity Generator (or VSQG) under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

To qualify as a VSQG, a business must generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste and less than 2.2 pounds of acute hazardous waste each month. 

The VSQG Hazardous Waste Collection event will take place Wednesday, March 9, 2022. This one-day collection event will be managed by ECOFLO, Inc., a licensed hazardous waste processing company in North Carolina. This event is by appointment only.
