• All-Terrain Wheelchairs available for rent (free of charge) from Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation (charlotteonthecheap.com) — Residents who need help accessing local trails can now reserve free all-terrain wheelchairs through Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, including at the Northern Regional Recreation Center in Cornelius. Reservations must be made at least four days ahead, and both residents and visitors can book by phone, in person, or online at several participating centers across the county.
