43-Year-Old Man Charged With Assault In Davidson: Blotter

DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson police made one arrest last week and wrote 31 tickets for charges including seatbelt violations, speeding and expired inspection.

Jason Davenport, 43, was arrested Sept. 3 on Southwest Drive and charged with assault, according to the Davidson Police Department blotter.

DPD also issued the following citations from Sept. 1 through Sept. 7:

• Sept. 1 — Assault with a deadly weapon/ assault on an officer, Depot Street
• Sept. 1 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (misdemeanor), White Quartz Lane
• Sept. 2 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (felony), Setter Point Lane
• Sept. 2 — Larceny (misdemeanor), White Quartz Lane
• Sept. 2 — Larceny of auto, Depot Street
• Sept. 2 — False pretense, Catawba Avenue
• Sept. 2 — Breaking and entering auto/ Larceny from auto, Jetton Street
• Sept. 3 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (felony), Summers Walk Blvd.
• Sept. 3 — Assault, Southwest Drive
• Sept. 3 — Harassing phone calls, Kinderston Drive
• Sept. 6 — Larceny from auto, Jetton Street
