Our Town Cinemas Set To Reopen Friday In Davidson

DAVIDSON, NC — Our Town Cinema Cafe & Taphouse is set to reopen in Davidson Friday.

The town's sole movie theater, which was shuttered during statewide closures, will begin its weekend slate of movies with a 1 p.m. showing of Hillbilly Elegy Nov. 13. The movie, along with Sonic The Hedgehog and Freaky, will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Seating is limited and the theater suggested purchasing tickets online prior to showings.

"Safely distanced seating and enhanced sanitation procedures are all in place to provide you with a safe movie going experience," it said.

The theater is also hosting two drive-in movie events to mark the town's annual Christmas in Davidson festival.

• Saturday, Dec. 5 — Christmas Vacation
• Saturday, Dec. 12 — Elf

Parking begins at 6 p.m., and the movie will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per car and may be purchased by clicking the above links.
