Simple Assault, Driving While Intoxicated: Davidson Crime Report

DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson Police made two arrests this past week, took reports of eight crimes and wrote 22 tickets for drivers cited for speeding, according to the Davidson Police Department blotter.

According to the police department, Guy Calvin Bostian, 22, was arrested Aug. 8 on Shearer Road, charged with simple assault. The next day, Dominique K. McKiver, 34, was arrested on North Main Street and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Officers issued the following citations between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10 that require a mandatory court appearance:

• Dominique K. McKiver, 34, was cited on Aug. 9 on NC-115, charged with driving while intoxicated
• Martin Charles Aklassou, 52, was cited on Aug. 9 on Concord Road, charged with driving while license revoked
• Jalonde Marion Willis, 28, was cited on Aug. 8 on Griffith Street, charged with driving while license revoked
• Fredrick Antonio Edwards, 27, was cited on Aug. 8 on NC-115, charged with driving while license revoked
• Kendall Ramon Brown, 30, was cited on Aug. 10 on North Main Street, charged with driving while license revoked
• Crystal Leona Heye, 46, was cited on Aug. 10 on Jetton Street, charged with driving while license revoked
• Woody James Allison, Jr., 39, was cited on Aug. 10 on Griffith Street, charged with driving while license revoked

DPD also issued the following citations, which do not require a court appearance:

• Speeding — 22
• Stop sign/red light violation — 4
• No operator's license — 1
• Expired tag — 4
• Expired inspection — 3
• Consume alcohol under 21 — 4
• Fail to display tag — 1
• Seatbelt violation — 3

Police also received eight crime reports around town this past week:

• Aug. 5 — Damage to personal property, Torrence Circle
• Aug. 5 — Public accident (misc. not-criminal), Concord Road
• Aug. 5 — Financial identity fraud, Shearer Street
• Aug. 8 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (felony), Mames Way
• Aug. 8 — Simple assault, Shearer Road
• Aug. 9 — Driving while intoxicated, North Main Street
• Aug. 9 — Larceny (felony), Ryker Way
• Aug. 10 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (felony), Claires Creek Lane
