Simple Assaults, Larcenies Reported In Davidson: Police

About three out of four tickets issued by police in town this past week were on one street in Davidson, according to the blotter.

DAVIDSON, NC β€” Davidson police issued nearly two dozen tickets last week for charges including failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, speeding, and possession of marijuana.

Numerous crimes were also reported to the police department, including a simple assault in River Run and two larcenies on South Main Street.

About 75 percent of citations issued by police in town this past week took place on Griffith Street, according to the blotter.
