82nd Sustainment Brigade Supported Disaster Relief
Team redeployed back to Fort Bragg
FORT BRAGG, N.C. – The 82nd Sustainment Brigade is re-deploying approximately 80 Soldiers from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., today. The team had rapidly deployed from Fort Bragg Nov. 5 in response to the Hurricane Sandy disaster relief mission.
The deployment lasted approximately two weeks and the sustainment team determined the range of sustainment capabilities including mission command, logistics management, distribution and personnel accountability in order to support U.S. Army Northern Command’s Response Force to Hurricane Sandy victims.
